Inspite of taking 22 units of insulin in the evening and 50 units in the morning I find through Aviva Accu - check that my evening RPS is between 300 - 400 and the morning FPS is between 190 - 300. I do admit to a exercise bereft lifestyle but I keep a sharp check on my diet. Am I undergoing insulin resistance?

The very fact that you have diabetes means that insulin resistance has been present for a long time even prior to the diagnosis of diabetes in you. I personally feel that a few oral medicines can be tried out in you rather than taking huge doses of insulin. Also, do ensure that your insulin administration technique is correct. A lot depends on that. And lastly as you have mentioned of an exercise bereft lifestyle, even a small effort in starting exercise will go a long way in overcoming the insulin resistance. Wish you good health.
