I am a boy turning 15 in a month. I am very much confused about gynecomastia condition, articles say that you have a hard ,rubbery tissue like something if you are facing gynecomastia but my breasts are just a little bit out .not like gynecomastia ones and when I press nipples towards my chest I do not feel anything unless I reach some flat thing like rock hard {it should be chest muscles or bones or something] and as directed by the articles when I bring my finger and thumb closer to each other{like pinching slowly} I just feel some kind of very very soft tissue and I think it should be normal. So its ahumble request please help me know weather I have this or not{though I think the answer is NO but I would appreciate your answer

Dear lybrate-user, mild enlargement of breasts in men is normal during puberty and adolescence. There is nothing abnormal with you, rest assured. You are not suffering from gynacomastia. If you are not convinced consult a doctor in person thank you.

This age is the age of transition and hormonal changes. It will be like that and it is normal. Do not worry and do not analyse the net for more information. You will end up only in more confusion. You can wait till 18-19 years of age to confirm the condition. If it is still there, then you can think of treatment and that is surgery. Don't try all the treatments available in the net. You may be playing with your hormones and future life. You don't need a consultation now at this age. As a general rule, take care of your weight. Avoid all processed foods (any bottled, packeted drinks like coke, appy, maaza, guava whatever name they call natural ort=natural like, biscuits, pizzas, pastry, cakes, any refined food. Do regular exercise. Taht is enough.
