I am having hiatal hernia with riflux disease. Doctors put me on PPI for sometime but after stopping medicine the symptoms return. Please suggest permanent remedy.

You should take medications for atleast 3 months. If still symptoms persist or suffer from symptoms like recurrent chest infection or pneumonia then you should undergo antireflux surgery. Do not immediately lie down after meals. Stop alcohol, smoking and spicy /junk food. Raise your headend while sleeping by 45 degrees.
