I am 33 years old person, I had budd-chiari syndrome since 9 years. Is there any permanent solution for my problem, I had some other problems along with this, they are umbilical hernia, inguinal hernia & gynecomastia. Please suggest a solution for my problem.

Budd? chiari syndrome is a condition caused by occlusion of the hepatic veins that drain the liver. It presents with the classical triad of abdominal pain, ascites and liver enlargement. Examples of occlusion include thrombosis of hepatic veins. It occurs in 1 out of a million individuals. The syndrome can be fulminant, acute, chronic, or asymptomatic. The prognosis is poor in patients with budd-chiari syndrome who remain untreated, with death resulting from progressive liver failure in 3 months to 3 years from the time of diagnosis. Following portosystemic shunting, however, the 5-year survival rate for patients with the syndrome is 38-87%. The actuarial 5-year survival rate following liver transplantation is 70%.
