How to deal with nerve damage in right leg below knee post DVT. My father can not walk without wearing a foot drop splint and is on anticoagulants since 1 year. He can not raise his feet by his ankle. It just drops.

Physical therapy, TENS application to stimulate nerves and prevent muscles wasting by physiotherapist may help. See a neurologist if he can add methycobalamin tabs and other medications. Periodical serum prothrombin time must be done if taking anticoagulant treatment for modifying doses.
