A pregnant lady needs extra calories to take adequate care of her own health and health of her baby. It is important to eat right because if excess weight is gained, it can create a lot of problems in delivery and otherwise. Dry fruits, pulse, fresh fruits and milk. She can take all that she likes. She should not take too much of oil, butter etc. The gain in weight should be 1.5-2 kg every month. If she likes she can contact me for more details and advice.
