Simultaneously, following are a few remedies that you can additionally try to control your hypertension - (a) Restrict salt. Sweets, greasy, oily, fatty and high calorie foods including fast foods are best avoided. (b) Take fennel seeds (1 tsp) post meals. Also, have a clove of fresh garlic twice daily (after food). (c) Streamline your diet & lifestyle. Take a Mediterranean diet mostly. Fresh cold water fish prepared in extra virgin olive oil can be consumed twice a week.
