We need complete history & blood investigation. Mild liver injury may progress to chronic injury. Means if Jaundice is due to liver injury then you need to monitor regularly by blood test called Liver function tests.

Jaundice 52.5 years back can not be a cause for this pain, any pain on the right side of abdomen may just go without doing anything for this; or you may be having a gastritis which very common and normal ,take a Tab. Of Pan-40 for about a week in the morning empty stomach; Keep a watch on yourself if the pain persists or aggravates ,any weakness or fatigue or some fever or yellow tinge in the eyes etc
