Hi Recurrent boils needs to be best managed with strict control of diabetes, antibiotics and drainage of the boil if it is big. The pus needs to be cultured. He can take paracetamol for his pain but draining the boil would give him more relief. Pain in the left lower abdomen in men can be from the testes, please see if he has any infection there. If its crampy pain it can be because of diarrhea, gas, indigestion.
