Hi There, Dementia is a progressively deteriorating condition where there are memory problems along with the language, gait and also behavioral problems (sometimes psychosis as well.). All that we can do at this juncture, is stop the dementia from further worsening with the help of drugs and also control the behavior with the tablets. Surgery should be the last resort, though it is not usually recommended.
