My age is 49 yrs. Three months back it was noticed that there was 5cmx4 cm ovarian cyst by ultrasound scan. Now in the present scan it disappeared.In the mean time I took overall tablets for three months and some homeo medicine. Let me know how it disappeared, when the doctors advised me that operation is the only solution as the cyst was bigger in size. Please guide me is there any chance for repetition. Two years back also I had similar problem, and at that time it was smaller measuring 4cmx3 cm. Advise me precaution if any.

Get a repeat sonography done from some other reputed place. It's not that it cannot disappear, it can sometimes by taking harmonal pills like ovral and Yasmin. You should feel happy rather if your repaet sonography also shows no cyat.
