paralysis can happen commonly due to blood clot cutting blood supply to the brain, as the clot lyses the part of the brain will recover function. In Parkinson there is degeneration of neurons (brain cells), degenerated neurons cannot regenerate and their functions can be tried to be restored with medicines.
