Hi, Hypertension of mother causes decreased blood supply to the baby & thus less nutrients & oxygen to baby. These if persists for long can cause growth retardation, poor organ growth of baby & in extreme form may cause death of baby in uterus. Thanks.

1.May have normal healthy baby 2.Can be very harmful to both mother and foetus 3.Harmful effect on mother’s organs 4.Can cause low birth weight 5.Premature delivery 6.Mother may develop toxemia which is very risky to both mother and baby and only treatment is termination of pregnancy good luck.
