I have deviated nasal septum (Dns) So doctor has suggested me 3 surgeries. What should be the combined cost of these 3 surgeries? 1.Septplasty 2.Radiofrequency nasal Turbinate reduction 3.Balloon dilatation of Sinuses And is it necessary to do all the 3 surgeries? And do I need to stay for 3 days in the hospital for these surgeries? Is it possible that in a day I can go home?

The problem is that Indian Insurance Companies have not woken up to the fact that medical technologies have come a long way in the last 60 years! Thus they insist on 24 hour hospitalisation for any surgery! If I were to do the above surgeries, and you were a cash paying patient, I would discharge you within 3 hours after surgery! If it was balloon sinuplasty along with RF assistedTurbinate Reduction, I can do it as an Office case! Under local anaesthesia in my clinic chambers, so no OT required! and you can go back to work immediately after the surgical procedure! However Septoplasty does require hospitalisation but can be discharged within 3 hours of surgery, however it also required daily follow-ups at my clinic to clean the nose so as to keep you comfortable for about 1 week.
