I had a elbow surgery 2 months back on 27th dec 2016. Now facing stiffness issue. Unable to ben it or straight it completely. On surgery they putted on plate with screw on olecranon which is 5 to 6 cm from joint. My physiotherapy is going on since 20 days which is somewhat helpful. Please let me know any other way or any oil massage or self exercise to remove stiffness. I asked my Dr. How so this stiffness will go. He said can not say any thing right now but you have only one month remaining to remove stiffness. Please help me to remove stiffness. Thanks & regards.

Stiffness is very common post surgery and you can easily make your joint flexible and strong with the right exercises prescribed by your Physiotherapist. I am sure exercises are included in your physio session. Start using your hand as normally as possible. Hope this helps.
