Hello librate user,once baby is 6 months old top foods are must along with breast milk.You can make home made soup of tomato and spinach.Moog dal as it is easy to digest can be given.At 10 month s you can smash very very tiny pieces of chappati n feed.It should be quarter chappati.Most of fruits can be given.Avoid outside foods as well as gripe water,plain boil water is excellent.For proper motion if the baby is having constipation then boil small piece of jaggery in water n give that water at night.If should only 3 to 4 spoons as it is according to months.If you have further queries you can connect through online text consultation

It's normal for a baby not to poop for 7 days .But if she gets stomach pain or colic pains that's like she brings her legs again and again near her stomach, then you need to give gripe water or bonnisan but after consulting pediatrician. Make sure she is being breast fed. And mother is not having constipation.

Usually children on breast feeds are not constipated as such. They may not pass stool every day. If the child cries a lot while passing stool, he may be having a local fissure which needs to be checked out by pediatrician. I am not sure Bonnisan would help, but if the excessive cry is due to constipation and hard stool, please show the baby to a Pediatrician.

If baby is breast fed only or getting some cow's milk or formula milk or calcium syrup. You should withhold everything except breast feed. Secondly if stools are not hard, then it's ok with once a week frequency for stools, if baby is breast fed only.

Hi. You can add some castor oil to her food. Also give her some mashed vegetables to improve fibre intake.
