Irregular periods and bilateral polycystic ovaries can be related to a condition called polycystic ovary syndrome (pcos). Pcos is a hormonal disorder that affects women of reproductive age. It is characterized by the presence of multiple cysts on the ovaries and hormonal imbalances that can lead to irregular menstrual cycles. Common symptoms of pcos include irregular periods, excessive hair growth, acne, weight gain, and difficulty getting pregnant. However, the symptoms can vary from person to person. If youã¢ââre concerned about your ability to conceive in the future due to bilateral polycystic ovaries or any other reason, itã¢ââs important to remember that everyoneã¢ââs situation is unique. While pcos can affect fertility, it doesnã¢âât necessarily mean you wonã¢âât be able to conceive. Many women with pcos are able to conceive and have successful pregnancies with the help of medical interventions and lifestyle modifications. Itã¢ââs essential to consult with a healthcare professional, such as a reproductive endocrinologist or fertility specialist, who can provide a thorough evaluation, discuss potential fertility treatments or interventions, and offer guidance specific to your situation. Additionally, maintaining a healthy lifestyle can positively impact your fertility. Regular exercise, a balanced diet, managing stress levels, and maintaining a healthy weight can all contribute to your overall reproductive health. Remember that fertility is a complex matter, and itã¢ââs best to seek personalized advice from medical professionals who can evaluate your specific circumstances and provide appropriate recommendations. You have not mentioned the medications you are taking. Hypothyroid and bp are not very difficult issues for doctors to manage. For hypothyroid regular tablets and thyroid profile test at least every 3 months to fix the dosage is necessary. For high bp you should keep a diary to record your bp regularly at least every week at the same time, preferably in the evening under proper conditions of no exercise, intake of tea, coffee etc for half an hour before recording. These recordings are to be shown to a physician periodically whenever asked for proper medication. Mind relaxing techniques and diet control about salt and oil may be continued.

Thyroid causes include other conditions affecting the thyroid gland and leading to hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. Conditions causing hyperthyroidism are- 1- Grave's disease: Thyroid gland becomes active and starts producing too much hormone. The condition is sometimes known as diffuse toxic goitre. 2- Thyroiditis: This can be either very painful or you won't notice it at all. This lasts for a long period of time extending from weeks to months. In this condition the stored hormones begin to release. 3- Nodules: This condition can arise due to overactive nodules present inside the thyroid. Gland with a single nodule is known as a toxic autonomously functioning thyroid nodule whereas a presence of several nodules on the gland is called a toxic multi nodular goitre. Conditions causing hypothyroidism include: 1- Iodine deficiency: This leads to less production of the hormone. 2- Hashimoto's Thyroiditis: Thyroid gland is attacked by the person's body cells itself and damages it. 3) Non functional thyroid gland: In some cases people are born with a non functional thyroid gland, when it is not treated it will affect the child's mental as well as physical conditions in the future.
