Hi lybrate-user, my general advise to all is to stick to one doctor and go back for follow up to that doctor so that he or she has an opportunity to consider alternative treatments if the initial treatment does not work. A two way discussion between patient and psychiatrist is always a key to understanding the problem and finding solutions to the problem. As such here the treatment may be required for anxiety disorder and hyperhidrosis. While nexito is a good choice for anxiety, amitryptiline was prescribed for you specifically for hyperhidrosis. Sometimes medications may worsen sweating. So it is over a period of time that a suitable treatment may be found. Hope this is helpful.

Good afternoon, As a medication xanax can be useful for quick relief of panic attacks if that is the medical condition you have. However, it usually does not help in performance anxiety which seems to be your case. I believe that you should seek medical help on this website with a second opinion on your medications with an allopathic doctor who specializes in psychiatry. I also believe that you are in need of a psychiatrist who can provide you long term relief which can happen with your condition as there are numerous other medications that exist that treat the condition.

Most people can recover from the condition on their own. Once g6pd deficiency has progressed to hemolytic anemia, however, more aggressive treatment may be required. This usually includes oxygen therapy and a blood transfusion to replenish oxygen and red blood cell levels.
