Hello lybrate-user. It is good that you are taking efforts to lose excess fat. Belly fat especially is the most dangerous type of fat which can increase the risk of lifestyle diseases. From what you have mentioned here, I can assess that your gut health is off track i.e. The good bacteria are lesser and bad bacteria is more than it should be. Many more details about your eating patterns and lifestyle habits are required as this is a multi-factorial issue. Your body fat percentage is impacted by your food habits ,sleep patterns, exercise & environmental factors. Skipping cheese, sweets and oily food is a good first step. But not enough. Increase your water intake, keep 3-4 hour gap between meals, observe which foods suit you & which ones cause bloating/indigestion, walk 1 hour a day. For detailed guidelines, you can consult me directly via Lybrate for details about long term programs for gut health & belly fat reduction.

Dear lybrate-user, may I please know if you are vegetarian or non vegetarian. Because unfortunately b12 can only be obtained from animal sources. However, if you are vegetarian but drink dairy products, then its fine. Vitamin d supplements usually donât help when taken orally as vitamin d can cause acidity like symptoms. It is better you get vitamin d through injection route. Also both vitamin b12 and vitamin d are fat soluble, so, never eat them on empty stomach. Have them after a meal. Please get 8 hours of sleep and increase your sunlight exposure. Wear clothes with skin exposed to sun particularly belly. Sunlight is very powerful source of vitamin d. Avoid nuts, seeds and dry fruits as they contain phytic acid which is antinutrients in nature. Dry fruits such as walnuts, almonds are antinutrients which deplete our calcium reserves, there causing weakness and even tooth decay. Consume ghee regularly. I wish you all the best.
