The decision to operate on an inflamed appendix is typically based on a combination of clinical symptoms, physical examination findings, and imaging studies. An appendix size of 4.5 mm may be within a normal range, but the decision to operate is usually not based solely on the size but also on the presence of inflammation and clinical symptoms. The fact that your daughter's stomach pain has improved is a positive sign. However, the persistent feeling of nausea and occasional vomiting may indicate that further evaluation is needed. It's important to communicate these ongoing symptoms with her healthcare provider. Appendicitis can sometimes present with atypical symptoms, and the decision to operate or pursue conservative management depends on the overall clinical picture. If there's uncertainty or if symptoms persist, seeking a second opinion or discussing the case further with a specialist is advisable. Encourage your daughter to stay hydrated and follow the prescribed medication regimen. If symptoms persist or worsen, it's crucial to consult with her healthcare provider promptly.

Bilirubin is the waste product of hemoglobin (a component of your blood cells) increase in bilirubin could be because of breakdown of blood cells or breakdown of muscles (myoglobin) or any other heme containing proteins in the body. It could also be elevated in liver disease. Since your history is indicating muscle breakdown due to heavy exercise it could be likely due to that. For ruling out other causes I would like to see your reports and obtain a history to differentiate it from other conditions.

Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. From the information given it is clear that she has uncontrolled blood glucose (hba1c%11.9%) & high fasting glucose. The condition is t2 diabetes. Usually when hba1c% goes beyond 9% on detection, a doctors advise insulin initially for a period of 3 to 4 months along with some oral antidiabetics. Once glucose levels are brought in good control, then patient can be shifted to only oral drugs. As regards dyslipidemia (high cholesterol), that will get corrected with appropriate treatment and diabetes control. From the query I am not able to place where are you based. According to me there is no reason to do any other tests. Priority is to get her glucose levels under control. Since this is an open question, here we are supposed to give only general advise. No drugs can be prescribed or recommended. If you want any specific help in terms of treatment (changing medication and other specific instructions) you will have to come in a private conversation so that I will be able guide. Please do get worried. The levels are quite high and will come down with treatment. She can be controlled with oral drugs later. If you have any questions please do come back. Thanks.

As per your reports all the parameters are normal and only increase in sgpt level, actually this is also associated with alcoholic intake in excess amount and for continuous days so I will advice if you are alcoholic then first of all avoid it .and after 1 or 2 wks go for another lft it will get within range.
