Good afternoon, first of all, seizure activity itself would cause great harm to the brain, hence the precipitating factor (here fever) needs to be controlled. N secondly, after frisium, the child may feel drowsy, it's a common side effect, she would get fine within 1-2 days.

Every individual is different. The cause of seizures needs to be assessed and no one can tell how many seizures will be there. However, it's good you are in the hospital. They will be able to titrate the dose of medicine to control the seizures. Hopefully you are under the care of a neurologist.

Brivaracetam can surely cause mood swing though less than levetiracetam. However, occasionally levetiracetam can cause less behavioral disturbances when compared to brivaracetam .there are many antiseizure drugs that does not worsen mood or anxiety like lamotrigine or carbamazepine. These two drugs rather stabilize mood. Alternatively, levetiracetam can be restarted after discussing with a neurologist as levetiracetam dose can be increased more that what your son was taking.

Dear sir normally your doctor would switch you to oral form .if ypu have a form of epilepsy you will need medicatio to keep your seizures under control. Take care.

Hello, I presume you are doing well with clobazam 10 mg at night. Pls do not change the timing or the dose. There is no chance of it affecting your married life in the current doses. No need to worry about it.

Hi although bhaang is considered safe but in your case it can cause seizures again so I would not suggest you to take it.

Hello, If the seizures are under control for the last 2 years it is worthwhile to taper off the drugs one by one. Some dependency may be there but first try to stop Clobazam. It has to be tapered down gradually over a period of 2-3 months . I suggest that you decrease 2.5 mg of clobazam every 20 days( complete tapering will take 80 days a bit long tapering but in view of your withdrawl symptoms that will be best after that you can taper Lacosam after consultation
