If you have leg pain then you have to rule out the casues for having leg pain. Looks like he has got drug resistant leprosy. He will need to take medicines for a minimum of 2 years so that the recurrence is not there. Is he consistent in taking medicines because it is very important. He cannot miss any doses. He will need a different line of treatment. Please send the pics and I will be able to guide you better

Hi. Nerve damage to leprosy cannot be reversed. MDT prevents further damage to nerves. Sensations in your leg is not gonna comeback, there may be a slight improvement. Avoid walking barefoot. There are specialised footwear available to avoid trauma. Ask your doctor for their availability. Examine your feet everyday. Use moisturizers regularly on your feet. Make sure there are no wounds. If any get them treated right away. Donot touch hot liquids with your hands. Have someone else check the hotness for you.

We should take medication as per prescription and after clinical examination and Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong , chana , Dal , rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don’t apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit
