Do check your hba1c. Follow diabetes diet which simply means eating the healthiest foods in moderate amounts and sticking to regular mealtimes. A diabetes diet is a healthy-eating plan that's naturally rich in nutrients and low in fat and calories. Key elements are fruits, vegetables and whole grains. U can take (moderate amount) grapes. Apples. Berries. Citrus fruits. Papaya. U should avoid sugar-sweetened beverages. Sugary beverages are the worst drink choice for someone with diabetes. Trans fats sugar, cake, pastries mithai/sweets chocolate fruits like mango, litchi etc. White bread, pasta fruit-flavored yogurt. Sweetened breakfast cereals. Flavored coffee drinks, honey 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like soaked almonds or any seasonal fruit. No biscuits or rusk. 2. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. 3. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, seasonal fruit, lai chana, a cup of curd/milk etc 4. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep preferably between 7-8 pm. 5. Maintain active life style 6. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods 7.take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. 8. Drink lot of water. 9. Everyday preferably sleep on same time now about point no. 5. You should join a gym for weight training. Do it 2-3 times a week with at least 48 hours in between 2 sessions. As your investigation reports are within normal limits and that you are on progesteron support, there is nothing to be worried over. Pcos with hair growth won't affect the fetus. But a close sonological monotoring of the baby, with usg and doppler studies mandatory with the help of a gynecologist. All the best for a normal delivery and healthy fetal outcome.

Insulin will be a better option. Need to know your HbA1C. If Sugar is not adequately controlled it have adverse outcomes on the baby.

Hi lybrate-user mam don't worry about gestational diabetes, it is quite common. What kind of advice get from your gynaecologist. Do not take self medication. What is the your glucose level based on we can take both allopathy and siddha ayurvedha medication. Or better allopathy medicine enough after delivery you can start only herbal medication. Kerala jamun juice helps for general debility only.

dear you were supposed to get yoir sigars checked 6 weeks after delivery as pts with gestational diabetes have life tym a risk of 50 % to have diabetes.change your lifestyle and consume less carbohydrates that too low glycemic.and repeat at 2 weeks
