Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. With h/o acute pancreatis there is no insulin secretion. Hence no oral medication can work. Because the oral drugs act either by stimulating beta cell to secrete insulin (by different methods) or by reducing insulin resistance. But because there is no insulin secretion at all so those drugs can not act. Hence, insulin injections is the only option. That to multiple doses may be required (long acting & rapid acting). The drugs like sglt-2 inhibitors like dapagliflozin, empagliflozin and canagliflozin may be tried as they function at kidney level. Thanks.

Skin moles appear because of hyperpigmentation of skin due to insulin resistance. It is not a good idea to remove them. Reducing the resistance for insulin in your body will reduce those moles. However, homeopathic medicines will also help in increasing insulin sensitivity. You can contact me for appointment. Only paid consultation is available.

*this is not individual medical advice. Please consult your doctor*the high triglycerides and uric acid are due to insulin resistance. The solution without allopathic medicine which has worked for my patients is to reduce carbohydrates and get protein to 0.8 gram per kg reference body weight per day. Vegetarians are most often eating a protein deficient diet and still their uric acid is high. So why blame dietary protein for uric acid? We have seen every patients uric acid come down by achieving protein targets. Most vegetarian people are far far away from a high protein intake. At least get your daily requirements.

Hi lybrate-user it is better to consult an endocrinologist as you have difficult to control diabetes. I guess insulin resistance will be a problem given the issues with weight you're having. Glp 1 agonists with metformin and a gliptin will be a good option for you. Glp 1 agonist is available as a weekly injection but it is expensive (eg semaglutide ). Anyways I would advise to discuss with an endocrinology Dr. and make sure that there are no hormonal causes for your obesity like cushings syndrome (excessive cortisol production) or acromegaly (excessive growth hormone secretion)
