For duodenal ulcer you must follow proper diet advice, timely food and avoiding causative factors like spicy food, harmful medications, fast food etc. Long term medications and periodical consultation with gastro enterologist is necessary. For typhoid fever there should be history of continuous fever recorded on thermometer, widal blood test test done in reputed laboaratory should confirm. 1: 80 does not confirm typhoid. Sometimes blood culture test may be required. Consult experienced physician - internal medicine - md or infectious diseases for correct diagnosis. For so called repeated attacks some care about eating hygienic food and typhoid vaccination is necessary.

Hello lybrate-user. You should get some basic blood test done- cbc with esr, thyroid profile, lft with serum electrolytes, crp, iron profile. Please also get your bp checked. Drink minimum 3 litres water everyday. You might need a repeat endoscopy so we know the exact status of your ulcer and based on that your further medications can be decided. Nothing wrong if you continue 1/2 dose 2-3 times a day for 2 days or so but don’t increase the duration of therapy. Don’t give it in empty stomach. Can give some ppi as anti ulcer like lanzol junior etc. Talk to your doctor. As meftal is an anti inflammatory too. Give your child vitamin d supplements if necessary.

Hi lybrate-user, abscess is a fluctuating pus filled infected swelling kind of thing. In that case it would be painful, even you may have a fever. Without any image or without examining it is hard to tell what actually is bothering you. But as it is persisting for more than one month, I would highly recommend you to consult a doctor nearby, oral surgeon preferably. Until then, maintain oral hygiene by avoiding any irritant like tobacco, use mouthwash regularly.
