Hi, first off let me tell you that anal fissures are a common problem but they can be really troublesome and painful. It is unfortunate that you have to go through this. Now, let's talk about your immediate worry that is the hard skin that you feel at your anus. Feeling a small lump near your fissure or anus is also common and nothing to be scared of. Talking about the pain and inability to sit or walk. There are a few things which delay the healing of fissures: 1. Hard stools 2. Increased anal tone / tight anal opening due to the fissure 3. Unclean wound (fissure) to take care of these issues: 1. You would need a laxative / stool softner 2. An ointment that helps relax the anal opening specially while passing stools. Your doctor can prescribe it to you. 3. Sitz bath which promotes healing of your fissure by increasing blood flow, relaxing the anal sphincter and cleaning the wound/fissure. If you follow these along with the medications, your fissure will heal faster and your pain will be relieved quicker. If you have anymore questions, you can reach me via private chat.

Hello Lybrate user. From your history, it seems like sentinel piles (skin tags), and they usually follow a healed anal fissure. They are not of any harm. So nothing to be done except, avoid constipation. No medicine will subside them as they are just skin tags. If they are really bothering you, they can be removed by laser or simply excised under local or regional anesthesia. I won't suggest kshasutra for sentinel piles. You forget about these. But if you really concerned, consult a proctologist or a general surgeon in your area and get them removed. It's a small surgery. Regards.
