Ethmoid sinusitis (behind the bridge of the nose) can cause pain between the eyes, eyelid swelling, loss of smell, and pain when touching the sides of the nose. Sphenoid sinusitis (behind the eyes) can cause earaches, neck pain or headache at the top of the head or deep behind the forehead

May be due to Rheumatoid arthritis or lupus only on the base of symptoms can not say anything gives more history like stiffness, nature of pain, mouth sores, swollen lymph node, Symptoms may include swollen, painful joints -- especially in the fingers, hands, wrists, and knees, "butterfly rash" on the cheeks and the bridge of the nose, ,time of worsen condition etc.

Dear, It’s called nasal vestubulitus and usually comes in diabetic patients so first get your blood checked for rise in sugars. Visit a Ent doctor near you and start evaluating for sugar as well as treatment for the nose infection. Do not delay because this is danger area of face and if infection gets severe then it may spread directly to the brain. Do not squeeze the nose either. Get well soon.
