Glaucoma, sometimes show symptoms in form of heaviness in eyes, headache, pain, watering or redness in one or both eyes, or coloured haloes. But most of times, it is asymptomatic. So one should go for routine iop (intraocular pressure) checkup after the age of 40 years. So as to get early detection and hence prevent vision loss due to it. As it causes slow and progressive optic neuropathy.
