Wearing oversized or small footwear that does not fit properly. Using poor sports equipment. Playing on artificial ground or court.

The condition may become worse if you don't get the acl repaired. The injury may turn into chronic deficiency. Cartilage can be hurt due to the abnormal sliding within the knee that can further trap and damage the menisci. Delay in the acl tears repair may also lead to early osteoarthritis.
