Hi lybrate-user the risk of down's syndrome in your case is significant. The next step to confirm whether your child has down's syndrome or not is aminocentesis. Although this test has some risks like miscarriage but in safe hands the risk is quite low. Around 1%. Thanks.

It is very hard to tell if the child will have down's syndrome or not. It is only time that will tell and for that matter of fact, it is only chance and please think positively about the situation. The chances are very less and even if it turns out to be so, downs kids are trainable. I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!

You need blood transfusion only if hb is severely low otherwise not. As your hubby is ok, in the worst case, your baby will be heterozygous like you, but never thalassaemia affected. So, no need to go for amniocentesis. And you need folic acid tablets.

Usually travelling does not cause any problems. It does not mean that you will not have any problems, it means if you face a problem it would not be because of travelling.

Penis need not reach upto cervix.
Any couple desirous of pregnancy and not getting the same naturally must meet a gynecologist or infertility specialist accepting the fact that it needs many reports and different trials of treatment. This means the couple must have patience and go to one with whom they have trust to stick for a long time.
In view of age better to have pregnancy as early as possible - so may opt for ivf.

Beta hcg was negative.
Mifepristone may give rise to slight bleeding sometimes and no bleeding other times.
You are taking meprate for getting period, but withdrawal bleeding happens 3 to 8 days after stopping same when there is no pregnancy, no other problem and meprate taken in proper dose for more days.
If required change in treatment.

White discharge called leucorrhoea is common and normal if not associated with other complaints. For this nothing to be done except pap’s smear if not done. If associated with other complaints, then needs examination by gynecologist.

Because of your age 'now we are not ready for a baby. Is not proper thinking. Go for termination if you are sure you never want in future.
