Post Herpetic Neuralgia needs aggressive treatment , if she is not responding to routine medical line of treatment she needs pain block in the form of intervention and as you have mentioned she is having other comorbidities so you can think pain block to get rid of pain as there is a limitation in increasing the dose of medication

Age? Follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). Please continue the antibiotics as prescribed for the complete course. The discharge is normal and has to be cleant with a sterile gauze which is available at a pharmacy. If the discharge is pus or if you have any localized pain, or swelling or even if a fever arises, it might have gotten infected.
