Hi its unfortunate that you are still having pain at operated site.
However this a well known postop complication.
Do not panic
go back to your surgeon
a local examination. Analgesics and reassurance is all that yu need.
The pain should subside by 3 months.

Appendix surgery could be serious in nature as it could hurt nearby areas such as bladder, large intestine or small intestine. If this happens, the patient will have to undergo another surgery.

For about 4 weeks. You can increase your activity to moderate exercise after the first two weeks. I often advise to “let pain be your guide” in your recovery. This just means you can steadily increase your activity as long your pain is under control.

Dear lybrateuser,
- If it is sub acute appendicitis then the doctor may put you on antibiotics if there is no indication of any complication like perforation or rupture,
if there is not much improvement in twenty four hours then surgery may be done.
