Asked for female, 37 years old from Mysore

Namaste, my 9 year son diagnosed as asd at the age 3.6 and he is non speech also since july 2022 am giving him axepta 10 and risperidone .75 ml .his hyperactivity like hand shaking jumping running reduced most but hypo sensitivity is presence. Niw my question is can reduce the dosage of axepta 10 tab like can I give him 1/2 tab per day coz now a days if I give ful tab he feel sleepy not attentive. And now risperidone reduced to .5 ml.

Hi lybrate-user I think you should contact your doctor for these changes. 5 mg of axepta may not really help with anything. You should reduce risperidone further if you want but continue the axepta. Once again, refer to and trust your childâs doctor on this one

Dear professional, in my house I have two autistic sons aged 8 and 12 years old. The eldest son is already fully into puberty, so that's why he practices a lot with sexuality! in addition, his younger brother looks up to his older brother very much, so he takes over all sexual behavior! both sons have also been processed via artificial insemination via donor sperm, which means that they are very busy donating their sperm later in the future. They do that by lying in their bedroom masturbating in their nudity at a certain time! this behavior started with my oldest son, but not much later he taught it to his younger brother too! my question to you is: is it normal for my oldest son to excite his younger brother about things like sexuality, especially things like having kids and masturbating?

Hello doctor, my 8 year kid is autistic, as per the doctor advice we are giving him, night -sizodon -.5 mg tablet - 1,1/2, 5 ml l-carnosine, 5 ml auti max. Sizodon and asprito are used to help with aggression problems associated with autism, but they can cause constipation and stomach upset as a side effect. Asprito is better than sizodon. You could request your psychiatrist to just try asprito, and at a reduced dose. Give asprito after food. This may help with stomach pain problem. Definitely Not !!! Homeopathy medicines are based on whole symptomatology that you have provided at the time of consultation. If you are using medicines form 2 doctors for the same condition, then there are chances that both medicines will antidote each other and both will not work.

Sir, I have a 5 years old boy who is suffering with adhd. He was diagnosed with autism when he was 2 years old. We have him speech therapy and occupational therapy along with allopathy medicines. He is better now but he not expressive while talking and talks irrelevant. My daughter has been on guanfacine for adhd for a couple years now and has gained a ton of weight. She has an appt on monday and I am going to ask to have her taken off this med because I do not feel like she needs it anymore and the weight gain is really bothering her. Will stopping this medication reverse the weight gain? I feel so bad that she is so young and struggling with this already.

Good day Lybrate, my granddaughter is 8 years old. She is unable to talk and walk. She can understand what we say. She only make nodding and humming sounds. She can't walk alone without our assistance. She is underweight child 10.5 kgs and 1.0mtr height, very lean body (skinny). She is having seizures regularly once or twice daily (mostly upon wake up in the morning) with duration of 1-2 minutes max. She shows facial contractions, tightening fists and body stretching during seizers. She is having digestive issues like flatulence, burping and constipation. We use laxatives often for bowl movement. Non-stimulant for adhd? I am 19m and I had diagnosed with adhd 3 month my psychiatrist gave me starttera 6 mg and said to eat half a tablet for 14 days. After 14 days, no improvement so he increased dose to 18 mg full tablet this time. He said to eat it for 14 days. No major improvement also this time, he said to eat the same meds for 21 days. I was losing few minor improvements that I had got earlier from using it. After that he prescribed the same again for 1 month. Now, I am currently on 14th day of current one month period, with no major improvement. I forgot to add, I also have issues with my sleep and anxiety disorder. And I also, be autistic. He had given me 2.5 mg melatonin for sleep. I even, tried to ask what issue I have, is it adhd/autism. He stopped me saying that what you want, you want to be treated easily, early with less meds. Or you want to forever dependant on drug and visit me regularly. He was even against my habit of searching/trying to know what meds I am taking, what issue I have from web or any other source, even from the doc himself. What! fews day ago, my gi doc gave me amitriptyline for anxiety with ppi and multi vitamin, minerals antioxidants tablets, because he was suspecting anxiety is the main cause of my gerd issue. Tbh, my gi doc meds were much more effective for my mental health than my psychiatrist. English isn't my native, sorry for that. Haha. Even I suck at my native language. Current meds addvitamin max tablets afternoon, benztre-d 20 mg morning empty stomach, triplet-10 10 mg 2 times a day, altonil plus 5 (5 mg) at night, axepta-18 (18 mg) morning. It also includes my adhd, gerd and anxiety meds.
