Bleeding between Periods Questions

I conceived with my husband on 13th of dec. Afterwards took an ipill just for safety. The next day I got my periods. But the bleeding has prolonged to more than 7 days now. Kindly advice if this is serious. How long will the bleeding occur.

Afterwards took an ipill just for safety.- I assume within 72 hours.
If bleeding is more or continues for more days meet gynecologist.

I have a question about my period. I’m 18 and about 2 weeks ago I took plan b. A few days after that I started spotting, which I know is normal, since it didn’t last very long. Then I got my period a day after the spotting stopped, so it came very early. Currently i’m still on my period but it’s lasting longer than usual. It’s been 10 days the blood flow is still regular. Why is this happening?

Hello, this is a known side effect of plan b. However you may opt for antifibrinolytics to control your bleeding.

After taking the high hormonal emergency pill like I pill one gets withdrawal bleeding 5 to 10 days later, and then a new cycle starts.
If this does not happen as well as period is missed then do a pregnancy test.

My wife has been suffering from irregular menstrual bleeding for more than two months. Tvs says thickened endometrium of 21 mm. Medicines didn't work, even d & c is done on doctor's advice, still irregularly bleeding. Sometimes heavy, sometimes low. End biopsy says proliferative endometrium. Could it be that d&c was not properly done as d&c was done without anesthesia and my wife felt pain throughout the surgery. Please advise what should I do? She is also having hypothyroidism (88 mcg). Is it due to hypothyroidism? Her age is 33 years.

My last normal period started on 1 april and ended on 6 or 7th april. My periods are usually regular and last 5-7 days. But I have been experiencing bleeding since 15 april (2 weeks before my period was supposed to start) and its been 11 days and still going on. Bleeding is light, like its on 3rd or 4th day of period and slightly brownish in colour. There has been no change in my diet or exercise routine. Why is this happening?
