1. Csf rhinorrhoea has to be ruled out, which can happen after trauma or spontaneously in patients with raised icp / obese/ hypertensives (bp), as this can later progress into brain infection (meningitis) 2. If ruled out, there are excellent meds to stop running nose, any gp/ent specialist would prescribe you the same after consult.
