Hello lybrate-user.
Usually when the cataract matures. It makes it easy to read without glasses but it does not mean that your eye sight is improving. It means the lens visual field is narrowing.
And it is obvious to have some numbers depending on the lens used.
If you have used simple lense then you may have nubers.
More advanced lenses may have been better.

Food rich in vitamin A and C Is a big yes .. she can eat citrus fruits ,avoid oily or spicy foods,avoid potatoes,brinjals,rice .. roti or chapati is adviceable

She should wear the black spectacles till her doctor advices to remove it.. maximum time period is 10 to 15 days ..
