Generally baby teeth must have gone till 12-13 years of age. If that teeth is living extra days. That may give misalignment of permanent teeth. Or sometimes permanent teeth are being missed in some cases.

There are some normal enamel defects like cracks which may not cause any severe problem life long. If these cracks are acquired due to some childhood Trauma or in adulthood, it can cause tooth discoloration and can become completely dead (black) later in life. So a dentist can clarify about your problem and future of these concerned teeth.

It may be calculus and not tooth part what you are observing. It is the same calculus gives birth to many teeth and gum related problem also contribute in bad breath. Visit a dentist for scaling and polishing and follow his instructions to maintain the good oral hygiene. It will definitely help you.
