It's not like that. During this treatment most of patients not able to brush their teeth and food particles are sticking in teeth. If you not maintain your oral hygiene that may cause bleeding gums, receding gum. So pls take time to brush in proper manner specialised brush and techniques. Do deep cleaning by dentist.

Certain crooked teeth has to be only extracted. Certain can be aligned. I advice you to follow up with a clinical oral cavity picture privately. Hello Lybrate user. The crooked teeth either can be corrected or has to be removed in case if it's present lingualy or palataly. The mesiodens are supernumerary teeth which has to be extracted. The milk teeth, which is removed, the permanent teeth will erupt there soon. I advice you to take an orthopantamogram and check the eruption of permanent teeth. Hello Lybrate user, Extraction treatment protocol varies according to the extent of malocclusion. With Damon braces some of the extraction cases can be converted into nonextraction, not indicated for all extraction cases though.
