Asked for female, 39 years old from Jodhpur

I suffered severe allergic reaction from ranidine on sunday and till now taken 4 dosage of 100 mg hydrocortisone. Taking montas l twice daily. Swelling on face, feet and arms. Although the rashes stopped. Still little breathing difficulty. Kindly advice urgently.

Hi my sister is allergic to paracetamol tablets. When she takes paracetamol, she get swelling on her face and around eyes. She can't even open her eyes at that time. When she consulted the doctor, he said she allergic to nsaid content and avoid using that. My understanding is nsaid is used for pain relief and fever. So here my question, in life there will be many situations where we need to take pain killers, so is there any alternative tablets which she can take?

Hello Lybrate user. For pain you can try plain tramadol. Be aware of vomiting and headache which are side effect of tramadol take care.

Hi Sir, I am 36 years old having diabetes for almost 10 years in that 10 years I got 2 times of urinary infection at that time my doctor refers insulin (LANTUS) plus tablets (JALRA 50/500, AMARYL 1 MG) after taking the pills and insulin for 2 months I will be normal then my doctor will stop the insulin and change the pills now I am facing the same infection and it's almost 3 months now my infection getting worse than ever my doctor saying to continue with the insulin and pills I have a bad feeling so please suggest me with something else to be normal.

Dear Doctor, I had been on a medication for some skin infection and the Doctor had prescribed 2 medicines namely Candycrush 200 & Proclave 625. On having this in the morning I started feeling dizzy for the entire day. Gas started piling up in my stomach and even there was a change in my motions. I had to use the wash room quite frequently but was normal. This also led to dehydration and lack of appetite for food. Kindly let me know if the above medicines are the cause of these issues. Sir I have a anxiety or panic attacks problem I am feeling upset and nervous and get fear for no reason my heart beat getting fast when I am fear body shaking, sweating, tightness of throat, shortness of breath, unusual fear thoughts, so I was go to phchitry so Dr. recommend me paroxetine 12.5 so I start to taken this last 5 days but did not feeling good, I got itchy skin burning or chills, fever cold also occur, and getting too much anxious for no reason so please sir tell me is it good for me or not should I have to stop to taken this medicine. I am daily feel anxious and I had thyroid also which is 11.36 tsh so I taken thyrox 50 so please sir tell me paroxetine is good ya I have to stop to taken that meds.

I have been suffering from depression & anxiety since ages. I have been on & off meds over the years. From past 1 years I have been consulting a psychiatrist and taking following meds Melzap 0.25 mg 1 0 1 Oliramp 2.5 0 0 1/2 Fluvoxin 50 1/2 1/2 1/2 I have been kept on low doses of anti depressants bcoz I get skin allergies otherwise. The doc has tried other drugs too earlier but it caused allergies. Do you think I'm put on the right medication? I see no change in myself, I still feel very low and anxious and have trouble concentrating, feel blank, get frequent anxiety attacks, don't feel like doing anything. Kindly guide me. Also taking high bp med Amlong A 1 at night.
