Kindly look for the intensity of symptoms. Whether you were tested for h.pylori. Look if you are positive for hiatus hernia or lax esophageal sphincter. You may require esophageal manometry to look for the severity of reflux.

What are other symptoms like running nose or cold or gas, constipation etc. I need details of the case. But what I can understand from brief descriptions of its gas/acidity.
