There is no limitation that burning sensation of feet will occur in diabetes. It can be nerve degeneration in your age, but if you are otherwise healthy, it can be prolonged. Another contributer is smoking and/or drinking alcohol. Its important to find out the reason for bone growth. If its by birth then it can be surgically removed but if it has happened due to unequal loading of ankle then bone growth will happen again aftr surgery. Get a physio to check your walking pattern and any foot deformities.

Hello, It is absolutely important to keep blood glucose in strict control with fasting close to 100 mg, PP 170 to 180 mg and HbA1c% <7. Otherwise wounds on the foot will not heal rapidly. Which can lead to further problem. It is essential he is put on Insulin injection and a constant monitoring of glucose is done at home. Now if infection is there it necessary to visit a podiatrist (diabetes foot specialist). It is a seroius matter. Thanks.

the reason behind recurrence of ring worm infection is presence of moisture. the presence of water helps in multiplication of ringworm. so please see that the area is kept dry from water and sweat. use clean napkins to wipe the water. wash your underclothes with dettol etc. along with the use of the creams. this will yield result.

Hi Lybrate user morning heel pain is due to plantar fascitis ,plantar fasciitis commonly causes stabbing pain that often occurs with your first steps in the morning. As you get up and move, the pain normally decreases, but it might return after long periods of standing or when you stand up after sitting. Visit near by physiotherapy clinic for proper drug free treatment.
