Dear user your problem is however a critical situation it needs homeopathic treatment along with your present medication to heal it in better way out however you need periodical checkups with your visiting physician under whom you are already under treatment. Treatment of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis is more elaborate than treatment of simple hypothyroidism. I prefer to treat with a combination of T3 and T4 along with therapeutic dose of nutraceuticals.
Other immune related conditions, such as, in your case, Asthma, often coexist and I believe in addressing all undelying and assosiated conditions holistically.

Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (HT), is an autoimmune disorder, which causes hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism does lead to dyslipidemia. Therefore, correction hypothyroidism is the main treatment. That does correct the high cholesterol levels.
There is no specific diet for either HT or hypothyroidism. What is necessary is to avoid soy beans, soy containing products as those affect thyroxine action. Plus it is necessary to avoid saturated and trans fats. Consume...more
