Just prothrombin time is not enough to evaluate the situation.
Take proper test.
Or ask the doctor treating the patient.

Hepatitis E is a virus that can infect the liver. Unlike other forms of hepatitis, the hepatitis E virus doesn't lead to long-term illness or serious liver damage. Most people get well within a few months. If you experience pain in R.side of abdomen under the rib cage ,then it can be some other liver problem as it is very unlikely that you would get infected more than once with the hepatitis E virus..The recurrence of the disease is never fatal.
People usually get hepatitis E by drinking wat...more

Since you are in ahmedabad. Few suggestions.
1) continue treatment of hep b 2) fibroscan can help you get the assessment of liver stiffness in case you don't have ascites on usg.
3) liver transplant is an option when liver decompensates but you need to enroll early on as waiting period is long in most centres 4) get consultation from Dr. sanjay rajput. He is expert gastro in ahmedabad.

Hello sir. Good to know that your hiv is under control. You will need to continue to take art as long as you live, as of now. In future if any cure is found that will be a game changer. There are better options than viraday now. As long as your vl is undetectable and cd4 is in the normal range the ois remain under check and also non oi conditions. However aids has 4 stages depending upon s/s. It will be better if you consult an hiv Dr. of your choice to know more details, please. Thanks.

Hi,
from the details provided by you, I understand that you have cirrhosis of liver with chronic hepatitis b infection as the cause.
You do not seem to have developed complications of portal hypertension viz. Gi bleed (blood in vomitus or stools), ascites (collection of fluid/water in stomach) or hepatic encephalopathy (drowsiness, transient loss of consciousness) etc.
You need to continue with anti-viral medications for hepatitis b and cardivas along with regular screening and follo...more

Well yes new studies have shown that condom doesn't protect against hiv, soo if the person is hiv positive then you have a higher risk of having hiv infection, do test after 90 days ,visit a virologist that will be better for u, don't be anxious there is treatment available now so nothing to worry about it,

Hello sir. I would highly recommend you to consult an hiv Dr. of your choice to get proper guidance in this complex question. No spl Dr. will just tell you to take this or that drugs without a proper consultation and prescription as per government's guidelines. Thanks for understanding.

Hiv cannot live outside the body for more than a few minutes even in optimum conditions.
Once blood is dried ,even if it becomes wet again ,hiv will not become infectious again.
