  2. Stinging Nettle:

    Stinging nettle leaves can help in reducing the symptoms of BPH. They majorly help in shrinking the prostate tissue and also eliminate inflammatory wastes through urination. To make the broth add a teaspoon of dried nettle leaves to a cup of hot water. Boil for 10 minutes and strain it. Drink this broth twice a day for best results.

  3. Corn Silk:

    Corn silk can also be used to curb the symptoms of prostate enlargement. They help in improved urine flow and can lessen enlargement. To make this, take around 5 to 6 ears of fresh corn in 4 cups of water. First, bring it to a boil and then simmer for another 10 minutes. Strain the broth and drink it up.   4. Green Tea:

    Green tea possesses antioxidant properties that help to inhibit enlargement of the prostate gland.

  5. Zinc:

    One of the potential causes for enlargement of the prostate gland is lack of Zinc in the body. Zinc supplement can be taken from seafood, nuts, poultry etc.

  6. Pygeum:

    Pygeum possesses anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties because of the presence of certain compounds such as fatty acids, sterols etc. Pygeum helps to reduce prostate gland symptoms.

  7. Cucurbita:

    Cucurbita is a source of a compound called beta-sitosterol that promotes urine flow through the bladder and reduces the enlarged prostate symptoms.

  8. Orbignya:

    Orbignya belongs to the palm tree species, that possesses anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It helps to reduce the secretion of testosterone and prevent enlargement of the prostate gland.

  9. Lycopene:

    Lycopene is a pigmented compound found in some fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes, papaya, watermelon, guava, etc. As per the st, studies Lycopene inhibits the enlargement of the prostate gland.
