My father aged 58 years was operated in 2015 for hydatid liver cyst which was 19 cm in length. Post surgery he recovered well. Today he was again diagnosed with a small hydatid liver cyst (3.2×3.8) cm. How serious is this? Can it be treated with medicines and without surgery?

Yes there is a risk always in a surgery.
But if the surgeon is good and experienced then it may not be a problem.

My son is 8 years old he suffer from hydatid cyst Then we did operation in chennai hospital on 2016 after that everything is good. Now suddenly from last few moths while he cough blood is coming. Namaste madam. My age-33 years I am suffering with raynaud's disease and our local rheumatologist told that there was already formed dry gangrene. My esr count is 70 and ANA test is negative.
