This diet, if strictly followed can work wonders for an ITP patient. Consume below-mentioned food items as much as possible. It is a balanced diet that is enough to fuel the human body for proper functioning. There are different foods in all three categories. Initial treatment will be with medications like corticosteroids to reduce the symptoms. But many patients relapse after the dosage is reduced. Next line of treatment is a splenectomy which has a high sucess rate. And even if that fails, lifelong medication can be given to control the itp.

You have low platelet and it needs no treatment. Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (itp) may occur when the immune system mistakenly attacks platelets. In children, it may follow a viral infection. In adults, it may be chronic.
Symptoms may include easy bruising, bleeding and pinpoint-sized reddish-purple spots on the lower legs.

This is indeed a very worrisome problem. I would suggest that you share all the reports so that we can be sure that it is TTP. TTP can be of two main types: Congenital and Acquired.
