It doesn't work that way. Initial trauma might have distorted. But gradual forces made it happen so. So it will be better for you to go to a dental surgeon nearby. Oral and maxillofacial pathologist or surgeon might help you particularly with your situation. Don't need to worry at all. Don't forget to mention if my advice is helpful.

Hello. I would suggest you to visit the oral surgeon in person. Don't worry. Certain people will have tmj dislocations. And difficulties in jaw movements. They are due to stress, bruxism or any other medical history luke arthritis. Avoid being stress. Check from bruxism
so tmjoint exercises. Thank you.

Hello Lybrate user. The jaw may be aligned skeletally or dentally. The treatment plan including orthodontic braces will depend on the malocclusions you have. But the treatment procedure usually takes time from one year to one and half years. Take an orthopantamogram and consult me for further details. Thank you.
