It is not permanent.
It is a good option though.
If you take good care then it will not come back soon.

Lasik is a permanent surgery. Laser recon tours the cornea so that light focuses crisply on retina. If you r power is not stable. What ever power change occurs will present as residual refractive error in due course after surgery.
If you r keen. Start maintaining your glasses prescription with or without corneal topography. Can plan for Lasik once all parameters stabilise for best long term results.

Having gone for laser correction helps restore vision for the time being but due not kill the process due to which the disease has occurred and thus in large number of cases it reoccur. Even though this reduces your chances at medicinal recovery each time you go for that process there still stand a fair chance.
Good luck

Again the cost of laser is high.
If it is associated with abscess as mentioned by you. Laser surgery is not indicated as there is no tract available for ablation.

Infrared coagulation, or IRC, is a minimally invasive, non-surgical medical procedure used to treat hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are veins in your anal area that have become swollen or inflamed. They easily are irritated because of their location, making them prone to bleeding, itching and infection. All big hospital do it and go to the nearest one.
