My wife installed mirena around five years from india, Doctor advice to change after five years, Is it necessary to take out old mirena and keep one month without mirena then install new mirena again, She is kidney transferred patient, Do you have any local doctor suggestion in bangladesh ,who is expert in install mirena.

1Week gap is enough to reinsert mirena. Mirena releases a medicine named levonorgestrel which is absorbed in the blood and maintains a steady blood level to keep her symptoms under control. as it is taken out blood levels start dropping and symptoms may revert. so needs to be reinserted as soon as possible.

Hi, presently i'm not pregnant but planing for pregnancy. Today in my usg report it's said minimally complex cyst measuring 21*18 mm with ecogenic foci in it's wall noted mid poll of left kidney. Can I get pregnant now? Is it possible to remove cyst in baby delivery time?

Surgical intervention for removal of cyst during delivery is not advisable.

Hello dr, my friend had unprotected sex with her partner on 9th dec and took ipill on the same day and got withdrawal bleeding on 18th december and on 25th december she beta hcg test which was 0.01 and after a month on 22th dec she got normal periods which was till 25th and was heavy she got normal periods but on 26th she got heavy abdomen pain as she had food from outside on 25th she took medicine but it still persist and it's mainly when she is having food did a stool test which indicated blood she also has pcos history, what could be the reason?

'on 18th december and on 25th december she beta hcg test which was 0.01 and after a month on 22th dec she got normal periods which was till 25th'- wrong information.
Correct same and ask again.

I have pcos and my doctor suggested me to take normoz tablets. After using them for 1 month I got my period and I had unprotected sex on 15th and 16th days of my cycle. I did not get my period since 2 months (i usually get periods once in 2 or 3 months) I used deviry 10 mg which was suggested by my doctor to use if I did not get period for 45 days. I used them for 5 days. Now I have breast pain, abdomen pain. Is that pregnancy or pre menstrual symptoms? I had sex many times on my 15th and 16th day of cycle but never got pregnant.

Did you do a pregnancy test and if it is negative do not worry. You can get a period 7-10 days after stopping deviry tablet. If still no periods please visit a gynaecologist and get an ultrasound done.

Hi! I have been diagnosed with an intramural uterine fibroid and ovarian cyst, and was prescribed dienogest 2 mg and mifepristone 25 mg daily. I have been taking them since 3 november, my last period was 7-10 november and then it has stopped completely. No spotting either. Is that a good treatment, can they be taken together because one is progestin and one is anti-progesterone. Do these reduce the chances of pregnancy?

My girlfriend was pregnant for about 2 week and she accidentally trip herself and fall on the ground on 16/01/2024 from that she feel lower abdomen pain and after that blood came out from her vagina and bleed for about 7 days we have unprotected sex on 17/01/2024 and after 7 days of bleeding we take pregnancy test and it came out negative and on 25/01/2024 we have unprotected sex and on 26/01/2024 she took ipill (emergency contraceptive) but no side effects appear and on 30/01/2024 she start bleeding heavy and she start having side effect and pregnancy symptoms like frequent urination nausea vomiting lower abdomen pain back cramps and the bleeding stop on 4/02/2024 and on that day we take pregnancy test and it still came out negative, can you tell me is the pill work and she is not pregnant.
