Hello there,
Pain may be due to stiff muscles,so you can follow some simple home care method to reduce it until you treat the underlying cause.Heat therapies such as a warm showers and heating pads can temporarily loosen up tight muscles and improve blood flow.
Along with other treatment you should go for physiotherapy which will help you in best possible way. Thanks!

Thanks for contacting with your health concern
1. As the blood glucose control is poor [for 6 years] and complication from the same can be seen in your symptoms thus it is wise to consult a Diabetologist/Endocrinologist for the choice of drug or maybe for Insulin therapy.
PS. Check with your glycosylated Hemoglobin [HbA1c] which is the investigation of choice
2. If interested and willing to go for Ayurveda management and dietary regime kindly book an appointment on Lybrate itself.

The best and long term solution is doing therapeutic exercises ,since you say you are getting cramps, could be due to muscle weakness,so regular exercising of core muscles will strengthen your muscles. If the pain is preventing from doing exercises then would be best to take few sessions of physiotherapy and then start with the basic exercises and gradually progress.
